Our Mission

If not us, then who... If not now, then when?

We operate in the anointing to reach the lost, encourage the weak, and loose the bondage of the people (Luke 4:18). To help everyone build and cultivate the most important relationship of this life… A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS!

God is calling his people to stand in spiritual boldness, walk in their heavenly authority and operate in their spiritual power (Mark 16:15-18). God is Love Christian Church has been mandated by God to fellowship, nurture, educate, heal and deliver souls locally, nationally and globally through the aid of the Holy Spirit.

We love all people, regardless of their past, background, faults, ethnicity or age. Like Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we meet you where you are.We are marching in our earthly mission for our heavenly reward.

Leadership

David Asher Robinson is a proud born native of Pacoima CA. Having been created to help expand the Kingdom of heaven, David has always had a relationship with God. Getting baptized at the age of 13 jump started his work in the church. From the youth choir to the deacon board he served under the leadership of Apostle William T. Broadous for over 25 years.
David's life was majorly impacted in 2015.. Not only did God bless him with a miracle of saving his life from two brain surgeries, but David also answered his call to preach the gospel. Working as an associate pastor at Greater Community Missionary Baptist Church for 3 years, God then instructed Pastor David to start a church in his backyard. This was the birth of God is Love Christian Church.
With Pastor David opening his first business at the age of 21 and serving his community for over 20 years, he is a leader, has a love for people, and most importantly has a heart to serve God. David is the proud father of four children (two girls and two boys) and recently became a grandfather. The joy of parenting is held close within his heart, right next to shepherding his flock and making an impact on this world.

Pastor

Tyler Clark is a Southern California native, truly in love with God and dedicated to building His Kingdom.
He grew up not knowing Jesus Christ. It was in 2018 when he met Pastor David that his relationship with God took off. Since then, Tyler has been amazed at the evidence of growth the Lord has shown him. Tyler is encouraged by the strength He provides and humbled by what He is doing, with His people, on His land, at this time (2 Chronicles 7:14).
When not totally consumed with the Lord's business, you'll find Tyler in the water or doodling in a notebook. He was a Division 1 collegiate swimmer and graduated from Rutgers with a Landscape Architecture degree.
Tyler is blessed to be an integral part of God is Love Christian Church (1 Corinthians 12:12-27) and look forward to seeing how our Father utilizes this mighty vessel of light.

Vice President

Diamond was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She attended and graduated from Crenshaw High School and then continued her education at Southern New Hampshire University where she attained her Associates, Bachelor’s, and then her Master’s Degree in Accounting. As a proud and dedicated mother to two sons, Cameron 14 and Cayden 7, Diamond enjoys spending her free time with family and being a sports mom!
Diamond has always had some spiritual and church family around her. In 2023, she gave her life to Christ and became a member of God Is Love Christian Church. With the help from Pastor David and the God is Love Christian Church family, Diamond continues to study God’s word through daily application and dedication to strengthening her relationship with Jesus Christ.

Secretary

Val Jean McLemore was born in Kansas City, Kansas to Jean Ford and Ray Sawyer. She is the oldest of 16 children on her father's side, and the youngest of 2 on her mothers side. In her senior year of high school she was homecoming queen at Sylmar HS and later became the first African American to be awarded the title of Ms. San Fernando Valley. At the age of 18, Val was blessed with her first son, Ashamad. Five years later, the Lord blessed her with another son, David. She raised her two boys in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before moving back to California.
Over time, Val had some personal struggles but all the while her mother Jean was always in her corner helping to support and raise her children. Her mother Jean was a God fearing woman who kept Him the center of the family unit.
In Val's spare time, she enjoys being a grandmother to her 6 grandchildren and taking care of her garden in Bakersfield, CA. While tending to her garden, Val spends intimate time in prayer with the Lord.
Val is a cancer survivor and blessed by the Lord with the gift of being an intercessor. She uses these tools actively in God is Love Christian Church. Val is a living witness that nothing is impossible to God. She stands and walks in his promises daily.

Trustee

As treasurer, she is responsible for the church's financial assets, preparation of financial statements as well as disbursement of funds as directed by the official board and finance committee.
Agnes holds an officer's position at a large financial institution for many years where she manages and leads industry professionals. Agens is very loving and compassionate. She holds her family very close to her heart. Being a dedicated servant of the Lord, Agnes' work within God is Love Christian Church has added an essential component to the building and growth of this ministry. She has been walking in her faith for many years and has a great love for God.

Treasurer

Stephanie Christopher is originally from New York and has made California her home for the last 25 years. Stephanie found God as a young adult and immediately became eager to learn about the Kingdom. Actively serving on the church worship team, prayer ministry, and various outreaches to the homeless community, Stephanie has always had a heart for service and helping others. Knowing God was the solution to the problems of life, Stephanie was led to become a Biblical Counselor. Stephanie believes through transparency and the Word of God people can access the promises and principles of the Kingdom and experience transformation through Christ Jesus.

What We Believe

The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives (2 Timothy 3:16)

God is eternal and three-in-one.

We believe that God is eternal and that he revealed himself as one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Luke 3:22)

Through the redemptive power of Jesus Christ we have eternal salvation.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man and is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, rose again to life, and ascended to heaven (Ephesians 1:7 Isaiah 44:22 1 Corinthians 15:4)

We are saved by grace and the everlasting love of God.

We believe that we receive salvation, the forgiveness of our sins and reconciliation to God, by grace through faith in Jesus (Ephesians 2:8)

Jesus is the foundation of the church.

We believe that Jesus established and is building his church. God’s plan is that all believers regularly meet together for worship, fellowship, service, and instruction in the Word of God (Matthew 16:18)

Baptism is for every believer.

We believe in water baptism for every believer. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts as enumerated in I Corinthians 12-14 and as manifested in the Early Church.

Come as you are.

We believe that God has a plan and purpose for each of our lives and that he enables us by his grace to grow in love, maturity, and relationship with him (John 6:63-65)

The second coming of Christ.

We believe that Jesus will come back again for the Church (Revelation 22:12)
